Unashamed plug of my own business Red Fox New Media Limited.
I've been building websites since the mid nineties when even Google hadn't been founded, NCSA Mosaic was the browser of choice and being able to add images was a new thing... it's come on a little since then
I spent the early years working for the bike dealer, and maker of fairing kits for RDs and X7s, Sondel Sport in North London. Though by the time I was there they were selling bikes and moving majorly towards being a bike clothing only shop. Becoming a Dainese outlet with a brave commitment to extensive behind the scenes stock levels. I knew the proprietor and in discussion about this new fangled internet thing he decided that he'd take me on to create an ecommerce storefront. This went even better than expected with sales into America where the importer was too cautious about what lines he ordered the year before for delivery over the current year (that's the way it worked with Dianese, maybe it still does).
I moved from Sondels to working for a new media agency in Watford in 2000 where I worked for ten years before setting up on my own in 2010.
Since then I've changed from building websites from the ground up to developing in WordPress which delivers far more value for money for my clients. There has been something of a shift from larger corporate clients to smaller enterprises, SMEs and sole traders so the budgets have made WordPress something of a no-brainer.
Prior to the mid 90s I was working as a commercial photographer and that has continued alongside and as part of my business, also more recently shooting video for clients too.
Anyway, that's my history. If you're a business, or work for one, looking for a website, needing some photography or video work then have a look at my website. I also help businesses who are experiencing WordPress issues to get their broken or compromised website back on its feet again with my WP Clinic service. I can combine that with taking on hosting too, or offer that as a stand alone service. All websites I develop benefit from a year of managed hosting included.
